The French salon style, with its themed art and furniture, gives Auberge Marquis de Montcalm a lovely feel. We arrived late in the evening, but our hosts quickly opened the door and made us welcome. Our suite was spotless, and the quiet neighborhood made for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was superb, with eggs, sautéed cherry tomatoes and mushrooms, artisan bread, fruit, yogurt, and several coffee choices. It was a pleasure spending time with the hosts. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

The hosts were courteous, friendly, and helpful with things to do in Sherbrooke. Our room was clean, with a private ensuite shower and a comfortable bed. The B&B is close to downtown and riverside walking paths, with bike rentals and a laundromat nearby.

We slept wonderfully in the comfortable king bed with down pillows in our beautifully decorated third-floor French Boudoir. The next morning's breakfast was excellent, and when we needed to leave early, our hosts were happy to help. They were gracious throughout, including when we called to book, and suggested good places to eat and visit. Everything was within walking distance. We found this charming B&B when we drove into Sherbrooke in June 2025, and we'll be back. Highly recommend.
