The room itself was clean, cozy, and quiet, and the beds were really comfortable. From the outside it may not look like much, but inside was a pleasant surprise. After a long drive with two kids, it worked great for a night, and I'd stay again. The toilet was the one annoyance: it made a lot of noise for a long time after flushing.

The suite was comfortable, clean, and fairly priced, with renovated rooms that seem well maintained. Big windows let in lots of daylight, and the small bathroom was laid out well. The shower had hot water and good pressure. The staff were very friendly, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. It’s a quaint, rustic motel close to everything, with a large lot and plenty of parking. It was quiet during our stay. There are two floors and stairs only, which should be fine for most people. There were lots of TV channels, though I would’ve liked a few more. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

The slow Wi-Fi was my only complaint. My cousin and I had broken down while traveling from ON to NB, and finding somewhere to spend the night made a bad situation much easier. The people running the place were sweet and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms looked nice. It was a great experience otherwise.

The person running the place was friendly, and checking in and out was easy. It was clean and comfortable, with a decent bed, and it gave me what I needed: a warm, clean bed for little money. The downsides were that there was no TV remote, so I only had one channel, and the service desk wasn’t open around the clock. I could also hear ordinary conversations from the neighboring rooms because the soundproofing wasn’t very good.

The newly renovated room was great for the price and had good AC. But I was charged almost 20% in taxes in an area that is tax free, on a native reserve. I was also told rooms weren’t available, with repeated attempts to upsell me, and it took calls from several different people to get the room we needed. I had to pay for the room as soon as I arrived and still leave a $100 deposit. The staff hassles are why I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 4.
