The house was such a special place, and the food was wonderful. We needed a break from our chaotic 9-5 lives, and the peaceful atmosphere was just right. Our original reservations were canceled at the last minute, so we got in touch with Marc the night before arriving. We loved it so much that we're planning a summer trip just to enjoy the atmosphere.

Marc makes the stay. He loves sharing stories and is full of friendly tips for getting around and finding good places to eat. His breakfasts are a perfect start to the day, and the rooms are comfortable and nice. It’s also a handy base for Ottawa, about 20 minutes away, and Gatineau Parc, around 10. If we're back in the area, we'll stay here again. If there's no room, we'll at least come by to see Marc ;-)

The house is lovely, with lots of thoughtful touches, and it’s ideally placed for the Nordik spa and plenty to do nearby. Marc is such a kind owner and made us feel incredibly welcome. Thanks, Marc, we’ll be back.

We were very comfortable in the cozy room, and the location worked perfectly for a visit to the nordik spa. The host was friendly and happy to help, and breakfast was tasty and nicely balanced. The decor felt very dark, though, and at times almost cluttered. I’d suggest making some changes to it.
