Comfort Inn

We were surprised by how satisfied we were. The room was great for the price, everyone on staff was kind, and the free breakfast was actually good. Best value hotel we've ever stayed at.

The repeated trouble with our corporate account and the hotel's response to it have made it hard to justify staying here. Over several recent reservations, our crews did stay at the hotel, but staff couldn't find our company account each time, so we repeatedly had to complete credit card authorization forms. The same people at our company make the bookings, and the same problem keeps happening; this isn't internal miscommunication on our end. We received a reply saying our drivers hadn't stayed there for some time, but that doesn't match our experience. Our drivers have always used the rear parking area on earlier stays without an issue. The reservation we most recently cancelled was the first time parking became a problem. We were called to confirm that night's booking and told our larger truck could no longer park on-site, even though we'd parked the same type of vehicle there for years. That was especially disappointing. We've also had to make multiple calls whenever booking because our corporate account repeatedly can't be found, despite it existing. The process has been frustrating for years, but we kept booking and remained loyal. Blaming our company for what looks like an internal account or communication problem was incorrect and disappointing. The reply felt unprofessional and lacking in accountability, especially after our continued loyalty. We're moving future stays to the Hampton Inn by Hilton. Its rates are comparable, and its staff have been more organized and accommodating. The time and effort it takes just to arrange rooms and deal with recurring issues makes it difficult to keep doing business with a hotel that doesn't seem to value our loyalty.

Mount Cheam looked great from our room, and it was QUIET at night. The front desk staff were nice, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was really good, too. We had a good stay and would come back.

We were in town for a local event, and getting there was easy. The entrance was a little confusing to find at night. Check-in was straightforward, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet and clean, with a nice washroom. Breakfast had a good selection.
