The staff made us feel at home and gave us helpful ideas for places to see around Churchill in summer. We didn't spot any polar bears, but we hadn't expected to since it wasn't polar bear season. My son and I came north on June 21, 2025, hoping to experience a night with no official night and swim in Hudson Bay (Arctic Ocean), so we could say we'd swum in all three of Canada's oceans. I highly recommend the Churchill Motel. It's only 300 metres from the train station, but staff picked us up there anyway, which was a great icebreaker, pardon the pun.

John met us at the train station and assured us that walking around town was safe, at least in July. The hotel is simple and nice, with a perfect location about five minutes on foot from the station. The grocery store is across the street, and Sea North and North Frontiers are only a couple of minutes away. Good value, and I'd stay again.

I was here on a business trip and was glad to have the chance to stay. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, comfortable, and good. It's close to the train station, with a grocery store across the street.

There was never any staff on site, but otherwise it was alright. The suites have smart TVs and Roku boxes, and there's a shared kitchen where you can make your own food.

The Churchill Motel is close to all the amenities, with clean rooms, nice decor, friendly staff, and wonderful service. Since the owner has lived in Churchill all his life, this is probably the best value for the price in town. On my next visit, I'm staying here. Guests come from all over the world, so get to know them!
