Dolphin Motel

Our cabin was clean and had all the essentials, which suited us since we were mostly out surfing and getting Tuf city wild 🤙. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped while I was still figuring out whether our friend could come, then made things easy once we confirmed. My partner, our friend and I stayed in June 2024. The motel has a real blast-from-the-past feel, it’s been here since I was a baby. It’s a quaint gem at a very reasonable price. With so many other places becoming impossible to afford, I’ll keep staying at the Dolphin! 🐬

The Dolphin is our choice again this summer, our second time spending a week here while visiting our daughter in Tofiño. It’s older and a bit dated, but the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, and the price was about half what I found elsewhere. Thanks again to The Dolphin!

For one night over the long weekend, the Dolphin Motel gave us what we needed at a good price and in a handy spot. The bed and blankets were comfortable and seemed recently updated. The kitchen was very old, the room smelled a bit musty, and the bathroom fan was extremely loud. Tacofino is just a few minutes away on foot, and the beaches and Tofino’s main shopping and restaurants are a short drive. I’m not sure I’d book again, but it worked fine for a night.

My flight was cancelled just a few hours before departure, too late to cancel the booking. I contacted the owner and was really pleasantly surprised when he understood the situation and agreed to cancel it for free. He was kind in his messages, explained what to do, and helped me sort things out. That’s excellent service and understanding of the customer. Other places would simply have refused. Sadly, I didn’t get to visit, but I highly recommend dealing with them and hope to stay another time. Thanks again 👍👍👍
