We stayed in a lovely two-bedroom maisonette downstairs. There’s no restaurant on site, but they provide a discount voucher for the restaurant up the road. Breakfast was easy to put together, with plenty of options to choose from, and there were beers in the fridge with an honesty box. Bring mosquito spray if you’ll be outside in the evening.

It felt almost better than home. The place had everything I could want, from Wi-Fi and a laptop to a fridge full of food, adapters, and gluten-free biscuits. I loved the beautiful garden too. Everything was perfect!

We checked in at the start of April, so there were no mosquitoes. This is a lovely, warm little family home, and Kalen and Amanda were incredibly friendly and helpful. We even woke him in the middle of the night after the heater and hairdryer tripped the circuit breaker, and he helped us with the problem. We felt bad about that! The animals, dogs, and cats were adorable, and there’s a huge backyard trampoline where we could jump around XDDDDD. I loved the cute decor in the room and bathroom. Breakfast was generous, and we were so happy with our stay and the value. I’d happily return to Gateway B&B.
