Days Inn & Suites Collingwood

Getting bags or a cart from the parking lot to the entrance was a hassle, since more curb openings would help, especially for wheelchairs. Still, we had a really good stay. The hotel was spotless, and the rooms have flooring now instead of carpet, which made ours feel fresher. The shower head squeaked, and breakfast could use a little work, but those were the only small issues. For such an affordable price, the place felt much more upscale than I expected. We’d gladly stay again.

The staff were kind and helpful every time we dealt with them, and they did their best to answer questions and take care of requests. We were also able to add an extra night at the last minute and keep our original room. The room was ready on time, tidy when we arrived, and housekeeping kept it clean throughout our stay. After skiing, we made good use of the pool and hot tub, which were clean and always available, with plenty of towels. Breakfast had lots to choose from and was filling, including eggs, sausage, potatoes, baked goods, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and drinks. The hotel was a perfect base for our ski trip, just an eight-minute drive from south lodge at blue mountain. We’re grateful for the stay and plan to return to Collingwood.

I’m here for work, and Earl really helped us out when we had a last-minute booking. He went above and beyond, so I wanted to mention how helpful he was. The room’s clean and nice. I’m going to try the pool soon.

We had an easy check-in and check-out, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean, too. It’s about ten minutes from Blue Mountain, and if you get the king suite with the jacuzzi tub, there’s a nice view of the ski slopes.
