Living Water Resort & Residences

We had a comfortable week in the timeshare guest suite and were glad to have a kitchen, washing machine, and dishwasher. The beds were comfortable. My husband used the gym, I went in the hot tub a few times and tried the spa aquapath, and we rented cross-country skis at the golf course. The staff member there midweek was awesome. There were some quirks, though. Water made nonstop noise behind the bathroom wall. The week's supply of garbage bags, laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and bar soap was very limited, and we weren’t sure what to do with the trash midweek since we hadn’t paid extra for service. We could hear the neighbours word for word once they checked in, which was awkward. Without the washer and the extra soap I brought to wash our towels, seven nights could have gotten pretty musty. Still, we had a good week.

Amie at reception made us feel comfortable and valued throughout our stay. Her warm smile, professionalism, and genuine care really stood out. Gretchen, who works in Aqua Path, was also kind and attentive, with a great eye for detail. Her care made the experience more relaxing and enjoyable. The place was clean, peaceful, and relaxing, with comfortable rooms, excellent amenities, and staff who were always welcoming and ready to help. We had a memorable stay and would love to come back.

The restaurant was a real highlight. The food was nicely prepared and presented, the daily and happy hour specials were fantastic, and the staff were lovely. They clearly aim for good quality, service, and value, and deliver. There’s a solid wine list, plus some great live music on the menu. We spent a week at the resort, and the facilities were great. The indoor and outdoor hot tubs, pool, gym, and spa were reasonably well maintained, with the usual wear and tear for a kid-friendly, mid-priced place. Our spacious suite was comfortable and well equipped, including a good bed and all the kitchen tools needed for a gourmet meal. The flooring was less than perfect, and it would be nice to stream programs on the TV. We’ll return.

The rooms looked stunning, and the stay was relaxing, but the costs around services left us surprised. For what they charge, guests still have to pay to have the room turned over and to access amenities. I could get daily cleaning at a much cheaper hotel. There’s no streaming, and very few TV channels, so I had to watch movies on my phone, which was annoying. We enjoyed the stay overall, but we won’t be back.
