The 22 Hotel

The young guy who helped us was new but did a great job, so kudos to him. My experience with the woman at the counter was the opposite. She was extremely rude and disrespectful, and I’m still shocked by how she treated me. My brother-in-law had reserved two nights for me at the price he was quoted, so I could take my elderly mother out during the day to join my sister and her husband at a local campground. At check-in we were charged that quoted amount, but at checkout they charged us double. On the first night the dead bolt was broken, there was no AC or TV, and there wasn’t any toilet paper. No one was on site to help with our concerns. Worst service I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for any reason. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I’ll be sharing this on social media too.

After checking in, I found there was no cable box and the wifi was out of reach. They never mentioned that the services they claim to have weren’t available. The floor hadn’t been cleaned, with garbage in the corners and under the bed, and there was hair and grime in the shower. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!

My friend and I stayed one night and had two rooms. They cleaned some rooms for us, but I paid for the rooms and the deposit, then got charged for two deposits. They only returned one.

The price was decent, the rooms were clean, and both the staff and owner were friendly. We stayed two nights for a wedding. Can’t complain!
