Grandview Motel Tobermory

The deck outside room 20 is a lovely place to sit and take in the bay view. We're in the corner room on the second floor, and it has a wonderful view. Everything is spotlessly clean, with a nice-sized fridge. The room looks newly remodeled, with vinyl plank flooring, new trim, fresh paint, and a new shiplap ceiling and wall. The king bed is a delight to sleep on. Thanks to the owners and staff for a wonderful stay!

It's a cozy little place for a trip, and I recommend it. The location is good, close to the water. The rooms are a little small, but have everything you need, and the beds are good. There's no breakfast, but tea and coffee are available outside the room. Check-in is pretty flexible, which is convenient, and there's A/C in the room too.

We had great sunset views from the deck, and enjoyed using the BBQs to cook dinner. The rooms were cute and clean, and service was friendly. It's a great spot for restaurants, a brewery, and the harbour, all a short walk away. We also walked to our Flower Pot Island tour with Bruce Anchor.

We had our dog with us, and the manager was very relaxed about having him leashed outside the room, which we appreciated. The microwave was in the office, close to our room, and that was handy with kids. There was coffee and ice available 24 hrs, and the open balcony was great for BBQ or cooking outdoors. The motel is comfortable for a 2 or 3 night stay, with a nice location near the bay. We had a nice experience and would recommend it to friends and family.
