Ed & Mo were wonderful hosts for our first B&B stay. Their lovely property is just outside of Tobermory, and it gave us a great place to rest at night. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast before heading out for the day. They’re such nice people, with lots of lovely stories to share. We really enjoyed our time in the Northern Bruce Peninsula and hope to return soon. I can’t recommend them enough.

Maureen and Ed made us feel at home at their cozy B&B, tucked into nature. The rooms are very clean, tastefully decorated with antiques, and stocked with plenty of supplies and toiletries. We stayed three nights and got to try all the delicious breakfasts, with freshly made choices, fruit, and drinks. Maureen and Ed put so much care into every dish. There’s a games room with a pool table and chess for a quiet evening indoors, plus hammocks and a pond outside. If you’re lucky, Ed might serenade you with his own pieces on the beautiful organ in the living room! The B&B is around a 40-45 minute drive from Tobermory, with trails and attractions nearby. Things in the area close around 8 pm, so make sure you have dinner early. Highly recommend this B&B in or around Tobermory. Kudos, Maureen and Ed! We hope to visit again.

The backyard is a lovely place to sit and listen to birds in the morning. It’s quiet and calming, and time seems to slow down there. Tobermory is about a 35-40 minute drive along winding roads, past trees and open sky. Just keep in mind that most places close around 7-8 pm, so plan meals ahead. We stayed three nights and four days, and it felt like visiting family. Maureen and Ed welcomed us into their home and made us feel cared for from the start. Their house has loads of character, antique furniture, family photos, and mementos that make it feel full of life and love. Our room was clean and spacious, with fresh towels, cozy bathrobes, toiletries, a hairdryer, and even snacks. There’s a fridge, a pool table, and a chess board, along with a real sense of peace. Each evening we could talk with Maureen about breakfast, and whatever we chose was homemade, organic, and prepared with so much thought and care. You could taste it in every bite. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for more than somewhere to sleep. We left with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Ed and Maureen, for everything. 💛

The property is quiet and surrounded by nature, and the downstairs bedrooms give guests privacy. The WiFi worked flawlessly. Every evening we chose breakfast for the next morning, and Maureen’s cooking was great. Ed and Maureen are generous hosts who made us feel welcome in their home. My girlfriend booked the Lavender Room for a few nights during the annual Art Crawl. I hadn’t read the reviews at first, and when I did, I took them with a grain of salt. I was wrong, this is exactly where you’ll want to stay. We had a wonderful, relaxing time, one of the most relaxing stays I’ve had, even after working in television production and staying in hotels across many States and Provinces, including The Ambassador and The Royal York. Just a note, food places in the area close by 8 pm, so get dinner early. Thanks, Maureen & Ed. We’ll be back to explore more of the area’s natural beauty.

Maureen had everything covered, even the body wash I forgot and a hair dryer waiting on the bathroom counter. The meals were hot and delicious, and Ed and Maureen are lovely to talk with. It’s a beautiful, clean home, and every room is done so well. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
