We had a really relaxing stay in a peaceful setting, with birds and the shimmering lake as the only sounds. The lake has marked areas that are safe for swimming, and the grounds are clean and well maintained. The kitchen had what we needed, though it was missing a microwave. The rooms were clean and, most importantly, didn’t smell mouldy. Our little one had a great time in the play area, and most attractions are just 30 minutes away. Watching the sunrise over Miller lake is a treat. Lindsay was quick to answer our questions. Thanks for hosting us, Lindsay. I’d feel comfortable recommending this place.

We had a peaceful, restorative week at Miller Lake Family Resort and Campgrounds in the off-season, and loved the natural setting. White birch trees surround the beautiful grounds, and the sunrises over the clean, clear lake were stunning. We enjoyed the sandy beach, calm water, refreshing swims, and quiet time by the shore. We also loved the large beach area for our furry friends. Our cabin was clean and had what we needed, though a small microwave would have completed the kitchen. The futon was heavy, awkward, and uncomfortable, so we didn’t use it. More comfortable seating inside would have been appreciated. Even with that, the resort’s peaceful feel, lovely surroundings, and overall cleanliness made this a memorable getaway. We’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet nature break, especially outside the busy season.
Clear nights here are something else. You can watch the Milky Way and stars right from beside your campfire, or take a blanket out to the big open field. We’ve been coming to Miller Family Campground for more than 7 years, and it’s a great base on Miller Lake for enjoying the Bruce Peninsula. There are campsites and cabins, plus boat, canoe, and kayak rentals, and plenty for kids and adults to do, from swimming and fishing to basketball, ping pong, slides, beach time, and checkers. Dogs are welcome too. The facilities stay clean and well looked after. There’s a little camp store for treats and basics, with a nostalgic bell and friendly staff to greet you. Everyone is easygoing and helpful, whether we need an early boat rental, ideas for somewhere new to explore, or, when possible, a late check-in or checkout. Summer and fall are both lovely times to visit. The cabins are clean and comfortable, have the basics and heat, and nearby attractions are less crowded.
Quiet mornings on the beach were a highlight for us, with the still water and nature all around. We had a wonderful stay in our trailer at this lakeside campground. Our site had plenty of room to set up and get comfortable, though we would have liked more trees between sites for shade and privacy. Check-in was a warm welcome, and Laura deserves a mention for kindly and easily helping us change our reservation dates. The place has lots for families: a small sandy beach with a floating mat for kids, a playground, canoeing, fishing, and beach volleyball. The washrooms were clean and well maintained, and regular garbage pickup kept things tidy and convenient. A peaceful spot for families and trailer campers looking to unwind near Tobermory. We’d gladly return and recommend it, though a little more tree cover between sites would make it even better.
Those lake sunrises are worth catching if you get the chance. We had a great family vacation at Miller's family camp this past week. Cabin 14 was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the fridge and stove both worked. The AC unit was a lovely surprise and kept us from melting during the heat wave. There are daily family events and a park for the kids, and the waterfront is well maintained. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We loved taking the pontoon around the lake and having campfires every night. Thanks again for making the trip such a hit. We can’t wait to come back next year!
