The peaceful bedroom view and comfortable bed made our stay especially lovely, and I enjoyed the hammock too. I travelled to Tobermory with my Mother for two days. The photos were great and the beautiful space lived up to what we expected. We were upgraded to a bigger suite, which gave the two of us plenty of room. Breakfast was tasty, and Spencer was helpful from booking through the stay, making everything seamless and enjoyable. Thanks to our hosts for a beautiful visit. We’d definitely come back if we return to Tobermory.

We loved the peaceful, secluded feel of the location, and the view from our room was spectacular. The hotel is away from the main town and restaurants, so you’ll need a car to explore the shops and dining spots. It’s not really walkable. We stayed one night, and while it’s on the pricier side, it was worth every penny to us. The rooms are stunning, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a huge closet for keeping luggage and shoes neatly out of the way. We honestly didn’t want to leave.

They made a bonfire for us, and I’d forgotten how fun it was to roast marshmallows. This B&B made our Tobermory getaway much more enjoyable. We stayed one night in the area, and though it costs more, it felt worth it to us. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, with a private patio looking out at the water framed by trees. Breakfast isn’t cooked hot for you, but you can pick from a variety of prepared dishes, brought to your room at the time you request.

The rooms and breakfast were good, but this was nowhere near what I expect from a stay costing nearly $700 a night. The owners and their friends took over the prime waterfront seating area, drinking and talking loudly, so paying guests couldn’t enjoy it. It felt unwelcoming, with repeated warnings about extra charges instead of hospitality. Basic items were missing: no slippers despite shoes not being allowed inside, no Kleenex, no shower cap, and no lounge cushions. Canoes and kayaks were on display between guest areas but marked “not for guest use,” which felt like a tease. The owners’ response to my concerns was frustrating and disappointing. They defended themselves rather than addressing the issues or offering fair compensation, then sent a token discount code for a future stay that I won’t use. I don’t recommend it.
