We booked a standard king room for a night during our Tobermory trip, and it worked perfectly for us as a couple. It had a fridge, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker with tea and coffee sachets. The bed was super cozy, and there were plenty of towels and basic toiletries. For my first motel stay, the room was far more comfortable than I expected, with nice interiors. The motel is close enough to walk into the main town, and there's lots of parking. Restaurants are about a 10-minute walk away. The staff were warm and friendly, and the map of Tobermory they gave us was genuinely helpful while exploring. We had a really comfortable stay at Escarpment Heights Motel and would definitely come back and recommend it.

The dock area is only a 2-3 minute walk away, with all the eateries and pubs nearby, which is a big plus. My family stayed for two nights, and the rooms were well maintained, almost like being in a 5 star hotel. The staff were polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Their suggestions for where to eat and what to do were spot on. This will be my go-to place when I visit Tobermory again!

The location was great, and the motel was clean and charming. I stayed here two weeks ago and had a fantastic visit. The rooms were spacious, with clean, comfortable beds, and the staff were VERY helpful. Owner Megan went WELL out of her way to help me on my travels, and I'm so grateful. I'll stay here again sometime soon!

The customer service representative, Tennis, was extremely welcoming and kind, and knew a lot about the nearby attractions and area. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. It's a beautiful location, just minutes from the Bruce Anchor Cruise.

I booked through Expedia and cancelled, but they said I had to call and confirm my credit card details before they'd issue a refund. I gave them the card number and security code, which made me uncomfortable and worried about a fraudulent charge. They shouldn't charge me before the free cancellation deadline. And a refund shouldn't require detailed credit card information.
