Adams Beach Cottages

Such a relaxing place to stay. The owners were really kind and courteous, and everything was very clean. I'd definitely come back.

The beach was just what we expected, with miles and miles of sand and surf. Inside cabin/cottage #7 was another story. The furniture was oversized, hard, old, dirty and smelly, and some of it was broken. The dark paneling and doors looked dirty, and the deck steps and boards were rotten. We knew there was no A/C, but the pilot lights on the propane stove and floor heater stayed warm to the touch all day and night, so the small space was hotter than we expected. The nice weather was a relief, since we couldn't get comfortable or relax indoors. You can't see the beach from inside, though you can hear the surf, and there was usually a nice breeze. The owner said he was working on upgrades. The location is worth it.

The beach is a beautiful 3km stretch of sand, and the whole place feels clean, calm, and peaceful. Don, the manager, is such a kind and respectful person. He really does all he can to make you feel comfortable and happy.

We stayed in cottages right on the beach, with big windows that let us look out while reading or having breakfast. The cottages are dated, but clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything you could need. You can hear the ocean as you drift off. A lovely, cosy PEI beach stay.
