The relaxed, fun atmosphere was there from the moment I walked in, and their genuine service is why I’ll be back. Great drinks and a great place to stop in.

The property is consistently clean, the rooms are well maintained, and I feel secure and able to relax here. More than anything, though, the people make it feel open and welcoming instead of like a routine hotel stay. I feel at home when I arrive, and I’m grateful to the whole team for making it a place I want to return to after work. Here’s how they’ve made a difference for me: Jaskaran and Upneet at the front desk stay ahead of requests, from package deliveries to arranging breakfast bags for early departures before regular hours. Their communication helps my whole party feel safe and confident that we’re in good hands. Shubham does a great job in the kitchen. Feeding a crew of hardworking tradesmen is no small task, and he handles it easily. The Monday-Wednesday social hours are a welcome way to unwind after work, with food that keeps us wanting more and a great social atmosphere. Sushil is a top-tier bar lead and server, and an A-class mixologist who can hold down the fort in a fast-paced, high-stress setting. He knows what I want as soon as I hang my hat after work, and still makes a sincere connection with guests. Joan has a nice balance, whether I want a professional place to wind down or to let loose over drinks by the fire out back. She’s quick with a laugh and often knows what I want before I ask. Ashlyn is attentive to small details and handles requests without hesitation. She brings a warm, welcoming vibe and stays on point 24/7, making me feel like a guest in her home rather than a customer. That kind of care is rare. Michelle creates a stress-free, comfortable setting with good vibes that feel like home. She goes the extra mile as a manager, clearly cares about the guest experience, and makes this a fun place to come back to. Jess is an impressive bar manager, always attentive and professional, and quick to anticipate what I need. Whether we’re talking food, drinks, or just chatting, her contagious smile and easygoing manner make conversation feel genuine. She’s approachable and relatable, and makes me feel like a friend instead of another guest. For anyone in the area, this is the spot. I can’t recommend it enough, whether you’re after a relaxing stay or a welcoming place that keeps life exciting. Thanks to the whole team for making it feel like home, not just somewhere to sleep.

Over my seven days at the Holiday Inn Express in Dartmouth, the whole team was friendly and helpful, and the room service was excellent. The hotel had a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout. Ashlyn especially stood out: she was energetic, warm, professional, and particularly welcoming to families and children. Food arrived on time and was always prepared well, and the drinks were excellent too. I’d confidently recommend the hotel to friends and family based on the hospitality I received, especially Ashlyn’s outstanding service.

Sushil really made our two-day stay more enjoyable. He served us at the bar the first night, then again over supper and drinks the following evening. Even with our children along, he checked in often and made sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. His recommendations were great, and his warm smile and positive attitude showed how much he cares about his work and guests. The rooms were clean, the atmosphere welcoming, and all the staff were friendly. We’ll definitely be back. Any place would be lucky to have Sushil on the team.
