Lesley was warm and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the fresh, delicious breakfast each morning. It was easy to chat with the other guests, too. The Boardwalk Inn felt cozy and homelike, and everything was super clean. We hope to stay again on another visit. I’d highly recommend it for a relaxed, friendly, safe B&B experience in PEI.

Breakfast was a real highlight. I’m gluten and dairy intolerant and often have trouble eating while traveling, but Lesley made the best poached eggs on gluten-free toast I’ve ever had. It was also nice to sit around the table and talk with the other guests. The Boardwalk Inn is a beautifully preserved Victorian home, full of character. My room was nicely appointed, comfortable, and homey, with all the amenities I needed. Lesley was friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. It’s just steps from the Summerside Boardwalk and within walking distance of several lovely restaurants. I’d highly recommend The Boardwalk Inn when visiting PEI. The hospitality, breakfasts, and atmosphere made it a real gem.

The Inn was spotless and nicely renovated, and this was the best place we’ve ever stayed. Lesley clearly puts thought into the little things, from the coffee machine and rea in the room to cookies, an emergency sewing kit, and all the toiletries you need. She happily welcomes you to breakfast in her magnificent dining room, with homemade muffins, eggs or waffles, and fresh fruit. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would come back.

The Boardwalk Inn was one of our most pleasant stays on the many rail trail rides we’ve done. We were cycling the Confederation Trail on a tip-to-tip trip, and its location was very convenient. The place is immaculate and well cared for, in a quiet neighborhood, with a secure area for bikes. Local restaurants are an easy walk away, and breakfast was top-shelf. We only needed one night because of our schedule, and they’re willing to accommodate a single night when it’s available. You could also take a rest day from cycling to explore Summerside. Lesley and Jason are great hosts, and we’d gladly stay again.

Every detail is cared for, and the home is beautifully furnished. Lesley is a wonderful host who spoils you with gourmet breakfasts. The Boardwalk Inn is a beautifully restored heritage home in a lovely town, and it’s what a Bed & Breakfast should be.
