The innkeepers were caring, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the rooms were comfortable and very well appointed, with an en-suite bathroom and deck patio. We enjoyed scrumptious breakfasts and evening snacks. Each day brought a different homemade breakfast theme, with matching decor and tableware. Staying here was a real pleasure, with all the conveniences of home.

We met lovely people and felt like part of a little family during our wonderful stay at Island Home B&B. Sharon and Mike were warm, kind, and welcoming, and made us feel at home. Everything was spotless and cozy, and the breakfasts were amazing. Sharon even shared her French toast recipe. I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting PEI.

We stayed in the King room, with its super comfortable bed, sitting area, and huge bathroom. Just outside our door was everything we needed for a snack after a day exploring, and we’d finish up with tea and a cookie or another treat. Breakfast at 9 was delicious every day, with a different table theme each morning. Sharon made the final day’s theme lighthouses after I told her I love them. Mike and Sharon were welcoming from the moment we arrived and gave us great tips for places to eat and visit around the island. It really felt like our Island home away from home, and I can’t wait to return.

We spent two nights in the Prince room at Island Home. Sharon and Mike were excellent hosts, and all the extra touches in the room, bathroom, and breakfasts made our stay in Summerside a great one.

The owners were wonderful hosts and enjoyable to talk with, and they suggested great places to see nearby. My upstairs Queen Room had a clean, quiet, nicely appointed room and private bath, plus an extremely comfortable bed. Each morning’s breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The location was just a few blocks from the main part of town on a quiet street, with an attractive historic neighborhood that was easy to explore on foot. I had a wonderful two-night stay in August 2024 at Island Home Bed and Breakfast.
