We’ve stayed here several times while working nearby, and the rooms are clean and affordable. The staff have always been friendly and attentive. The owner can be hard to understand because of his English, and some of the other guests seemed a bit rough. For a reasonably priced place to sleep for a few days, it could work well. Families with small children looking for a longer stay may want to look farther down the road.

It’s a simple, nicely kept little motel with the essentials updated and in place, though nothing fancy. I liked that the floors aren’t carpeted, and the location makes it easy to get around. I’d stay again.

The owner’s travel tips weren’t helpful to us. We might have missed a lot of attractions if we’d followed them, so luckily we made our own plans. The motel itself was clean and good value, and I’d recommend it to budget travelers.

When there was a problem with our first room, the staff understood and moved us to another one right away. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with all the basic necessities, and the staff were friendly and flexible.

My husband uses crutches, and the steps were too high for him to get into the room at Baker's Lighthouse Motel in Summerside, PEI. I asked the owner if they had a portable ramp, but he responded very rudely and told us we could leave but wouldn’t get our money back. We left. It felt like there was no consideration for people with disabilities. Please don’t support this business.
