We even picked up handmade wool socks that were on display, and the Anne of Green Gables area is only about half an hour away. Our room was quiet, private, tucked away, and spacious, with two queen beds and its own bathroom in an inexpensive split-level setup. We called the same day to ask about arriving late, and the Reads family made it work. They were so kind and hospitable. The country-style decor was lovely, and breakfast was delicious. I don’t usually write reviews unless something is awful or deserves an honorable mention, and this place does. The reviews were right.

The Confederation Trail goes right through the backyard, which made for a lovely walk, and we could even spot foxes moving through the grass. Nearby restaurants were convenient, and the wharf was about 1 km away. The room was beautiful, and each morning started with a delicious fresh breakfast. It was such a beautiful stay, and I hope I can return.

The owner was very nice, and breakfast came with good conversation and delicious food. Our basement room had a few bugs, which frightened our kids. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean.

Breakfast was coffee and eggs served at the table, and everyone was really friendly. I slept well on the soft bed and had no issues. I only needed a small room where I could clean up, and this little room with a tub worked well for me. It was a nice place with a typical farmhouse look. Thanks again!
