Days Inn Dawson Creek

The staff made us feel welcome from arrival through checkout, and the quiet location meant we got a great night's sleep. Breakfast was a simple complimentary spread, but it was fresh and well stocked, with staff checking that everyone had what they needed. We were surprised by how good the value was: our clean, comfortable, spacious room had three beds and cost less than many places charge for two. The hotel has a quaint, cozy feel. It isn't flashy, but we'd happily recommend it for comfort, value, and warm service.

Michael at the front desk was a big help with setting up our group reservation. The location is convenient, close to the Ovintiv Event Centre and less than a minute from Walmart, and the rooms were clean. They are a bit dated, though, and the breakfast wasn't great, even if it's nice to have it available. One heads up: a very hot shower can set off the fire alarm. I found that out the hard way.

We've stayed at this Hotel for a few years now and it's always easy to deal with them. The staff are friendly and ready to help. I'd recommend it for business or a private stay, and have no worries staying here.

The room was clean, everything worked, and I slept well. There's also a small gym and a pool table in the common area, which was a fun surprise. Breakfast changes day to day and they kept it fresh, with sausages, bacon, or sausage patties, plus waffles with fresh cream and strawberries. The omelets were great. The scrambled eggs tasted like they came from a bag, though. For a complimentary breakfast, the variety and waffle toppings were more than I expected. Days Inn in Dawson Creek is a good value and doesn't nickel and dime you.
