This was our fifth stay at Microtel, from May 24th to May 31st, and somehow it gets better each time. It feels like a home away from home, with a hot tub, heated pool, fitness area, and shopping close by, plus lots of time to relax. The staff are great, and the management team is wonderful. It's pet friendly, too. We've already started planning next year's return. We highly recommend Microtel Kirkland Lake to everyone we know. Many thanks to everyone who made this stay our best one yet!

I've heard people say the staff are nice, but that's not what I experienced. Several times, I said hello or good morning to different staff members and they looked right past me without answering. As someone who travels often, I don't run into this at other hotels, and I didn't see them treating other guests that way. I wonder if it has something to do with the R word.

The room at Kirkland Lake Wyndham Microtel was fresh smelling and clean, with plenty of space and two queen beds. The sheets and mattress were good quality. Breakfast was complimentary and had limited options, but everything was fresh, and all the equipment was clean and working properly. Staff were friendly and efficient. Check-in and check-out both went smoothly. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying around Kirkland Lake.

Really clean throughout, and it smells good. The service was great. Double-bed rooms felt a bit tight, though. They can put together a bagged breakfast for early departures if you sign up the night before, and there's late housekeeping for guests working shifts. Exceptional!

When my company is in KL, we stay at the Microtel. Contractors seem to like it for the location and amenities, and the lot is full of white trucks. The staff are amazing. On our last visit, from Apr 6th to Apr 9th, Dennis from housekeeping was especially helpful and courteous.
