The rate felt reasonable for what I got, and the stay was comfortable. Staff were really friendly and quick to sort out a few last-minute requests, including a microwave and fridge. I’d recommend it for the service.

I ended up making Dawson Creek my home, and it all began at the Silverado. After arriving with no idea where to go or who to talk to, I searched for a cannabis store and chose Northern Cannabis because it had the strongest reviews. I was immediately taken with the shop and the two brothers who run it. They welcomed me, arranged a clean, quiet room in the hotel attached to the store, and shared a lot of Dawson’s history and information about its landmarks. The building updates have clearly been done with guests in mind, and everything is within walking distance.

They let me cancel at the last minute without charging a fee, then let me use the WiFi to find somewhere else that suited my needs. I really appreciated the staff’s generosity and help. I’d happily stay here on a future trip to Dawson Creek.

I've been living here since April and pay $800 a month, but I still haven't been able to get a room where I can cook, even after asking. I have two cats, and I can't use the washer and dryer either, so I have to go to the laundromat. If you have pets and need to cook or do laundry where you live, this place won't work for you.
