Maplehurst Manor B&B

The breakfast had plenty of delicious choices, and we were given a thoughtful gift when we left. Marisca and Jeff made our stay in Dorchester feel welcoming, they’re warm, friendly, and very accommodating. Our room was cozy and the bed was comfortable.

The room was beautiful, with a huge, luxurious bathroom, and the whole home is gorgeous with lovely decor. We slept so well in one of the most comfortable beds we’ve had. Jeff and Marisca were incredible hosts. They left amazing cookies in our room for check-in, and made breakfast delicious while adjusting it to my dietary needs. Everything felt perfect from top to bottom. We can’t say enough good things about our stay. Thank you so much!

Brunch was such a lovely part of the stay. We chose from a menu and joined the owner in her living room, where everything came on beautiful china by candlelight with soft piano music. I had waffles, and she kindly worked around my dairy allergy. She also showed us the main living room and upstairs, then sent us off with more baked treats and a promise to come back every spring. The owners were warm and caring, with fresh baking waiting in our room when we arrived. The gorgeous, comfortable room had tasteful, elegant decor and a touch of Victorian flair that really spoke to me. The beds were comfortable, too. I even enjoyed the bathtub with its chandelier so much that I took two baths during the stay. This was hands down my best B&B experience. All those little touches earned the five stars, and you won’t be disappointed.

It felt like spending the weekend at a friend’s home, and there aren’t enough stars for the experience. We were lucky to stay at Maplehurst for our daughter’s wedding weekend. Marisca made sure we had breakfast and coffee the morning of the wedding. The breakfasts were personal, thoughtful, and delicious. Our gorgeous rooms were perfect for a relaxing soak, and the water, coffee, and tea in REAL china mugs were a delightful extra.
