Motel Vaudreuil

For a couple of cheap, simple nights during the GP weekend, this was great value. No issues, and they had free coffee in the morning. It’s not the Ritz, but it was perfectly adequate.

The bed didn’t have much cushioning, so I didn’t sleep comfortably. The AC also took a long time to cool the room, which stayed hot for quite a while, and the coffee machine wasn’t working during our visit. Some maintenance would help. That said, the rooms and washrooms were clean and well maintained for a motel, and the noise cancellation was better than expected. The motel is near the highway, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

For the price, this motel was great value, and we’d stay again if we were passing through. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance, though the route takes you through a few parking lots. The room was sparkling clean, with a plush, comfortable bed that wasn’t too soft. The bathroom had a big counter and felt like it belonged in a more expensive place. The AC cooled and dried the room quickly. It has a certain charm and seemed well cared for despite its age. We arrived later than planned but checking in was no problem.

We stayed here at the last minute while driving back to Ontario, and the whole family slept comfortably and soundly. The room was quiet, with clean rooms and really comfortable beds. It’s simple and dated in style, but there were no odd smells. What impressed us most after the beds was the AC. The room was 30 degrees when we arrived and cooled to 22 in about 90 minutes. My husband, kids, and I woke up refreshed for the drive ahead.
