Motel Seigneurie de Vaudreuil

The staff were super pleasant and greeted us kindly when we arrived and when we left. The room was dated, but it did the job for our quick one-night trip in and out of Montreal. It was clean and warm, with a small fridge and microwave, exactly what we needed. I’d recommend it for a quick overnight stay.

Customer service was good, but the room itself was in rough shape. There was no hot water, and it was run down enough that I slept on top of the sheets with my jacket on. I chose it because it was right along my route through Quebec and thought a room under a hundred dollars might be okay. It wasn’t a good stay, and I’ve learned my lesson.

Don’t stay there. I paid $178 for one night and would’ve slept better in my car. The bed was hard as a rock, there were two tiny pillows, and the shower had no hot water. At checkout, I noticed they were spraying for bed bugs in the rooms.

The room turned out to be well kept and very clean, with a TV that was easy to use and a clear picture, plus strong Wi-Fi. I’d arrived late in the evening with my spirits starting to sink, but my impression changed once I got inside. I accidentally left my jacket and wallet in the room the next day. The man at the front office held them for two days until I came back. There was $500 in my wallet, and every dollar was still there. An honest, respectable family.
