The beach by the water was lovely and the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was generous, though do keep an eye out for a strand of hair that might end up in the frittata. The rooster’s crow adds a quaint touch, and the place is close to the main road, which may suit you or may not. The hostess was wonderful, and the dining room has a beautiful view of the majestic river.

That view was unbelievable, and I loved the garden. The rooms were very clean too. We really enjoyed breakfast with our host, one of the best meals of our trip so far, and had a great time here.

The breakfast was generous, with lots of homemade and local products, and the price was great. Our hostess was delightful, and the rooms were tidy with pretty much all the amenities you could want. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a visit.

I arrived here after dark with my dogs during a cross Canada road trip, so I didn’t realize until morning that the room was right on the banks of the St. Lawrence. The room was cozy and suited my needs for the night.

The full breakfast was filling and creative, and the hostess was friendly and flexible. It’s a simple, homey place in a lovely region with a good location.
