Comfort Inn Dryden

The bacon at breakfast was especially tasty, soft and delicious. The rest of the meal was great too. Our room was clean and tidy, with lots of towels and different soaps, and the staff were very friendly. I liked the stay, especially for a work trip, and we'll come back when traveling for work.

The only issue was the sound of semi traffic right outside. Otherwise, the room was clean and spacious, and the staff went out of their way to look after me. I've been traveling around MB,SK and ON for the last few months, and this was one of my best stays.

I wanted to stay at The Comfort Inn while passing through Sault Ste. Marie, since that's where I usually stay, but nobody picked up the phone even though I let it ring for a long time. After reading the reviews, I'm glad they didn't. I prefer booking directly because I've had disappointments with some apps. I wouldn't accept an extra surcharge on my bill when booking a month and a half ahead, since that's not last-minute. Is it even lawful for a place to add over $100 because rooms are in demand that night? I wouldn't be okay with that, especially given the other bad things people say about this place.

The noise made for a terrible stay. Guests across the hall talked loudly all night, and I could hear someone snoring in the next room because the soundproofing was poor. The hotel took no action.
