Motel Earlton

The staff were friendly, and the price was very affordable. It’s right beside the highway, though the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

The rooms are basic but clean, and the location on Hwy 11 between New Liskeard and Englehart worked well for the price. We asked the gentleman at the office for extra coffee packets for the morning and another cup, and he was happy to help. Service was good, and the rooms were generally clean.

Nothing fancy here. The rooms are very basic, but everything was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the price was great. I stayed once for a wedding, and despite giving it 3 stars, I’d stay again for the cleanliness and value.

The front desk staff seemed friendly, and things appeared mostly clean, but the motel felt worn, with visible stains on the floors and sheets. The fire alarm battery alert started at 1am and kept sounding in a strange, irregular pattern. It really should be replaced regularly. We had to get up and leave by 5am because sleeping was impossible, and although we only needed the room for one night, we couldn’t get any rest. We apparently got the last room, which may have affected the experience. It’s the only motel in town.
