Ramada by Wyndham West Edmonton Hotel & Suites

My cat seems happy here too, especially with the big hotel bed. I’ve been staying at the Ramada By Wyndham since December 12th last month because of an emergency, and it’s been the best hotel I’ve stayed in. The room is clean, new, and comfortable, with a nice little kitchen. The hotel is pet friendly and has security cameras. Mostoba Ali at the front desk made sure my room was clean before I came in, and he and the rest of the staff have been so kind and wonderful. The hotel is only 1 years old, and the rooms are very nice. Thank you, Mostoba Ali and staff, for letting me stay and being so amazing. I highly recommend it.

We had a happy, fun stay over Christmas and New Year, and it felt like home. I was there with my kids, and we got some great quality time together. We also kept up our morning gym routine. Hamza was especially helpful and quick to respond whenever we called reception with a question or needed something. He even went beyond his duties to keep the hallway neat and clean. He’s responsible and hardworking, and Ramada is lucky to have him. The staff were accommodating throughout. We really enjoyed our time there, and I’d recommend Ramada by Wyndham to friends and family looking for a place to stay together.

The room was really clean, and the location worked well for us. I liked the modern furniture and the slightly dorm-like feel, plus the foosball table in the lobby. A few things were inconvenient: the conditioner bottle was empty, we could hear the elevator all night as well as our neighbours hanging out, and housekeeping didn’t stop by to refresh towels or amenities. I also found it odd and disappointing that they take credit cards only, since I wanted to use my debit card. I’d stay again, but I’d bring my own toiletries and ask for a room away from the elevator.

You can hear a lot, both from inside the hotel and outdoors, so bring earplugs. The thermostat has no cover, leaving a bright blue light shining all night. There was barely any body wash or conditioner, and the room had noticeable cosmetic damage. They only provide one-ply toilet paper. The TV was tilted down on the left instead of lined up squarely with the bed.
