Four Points by Sheraton Edmundston Hotel & Conference Center

We were left out of the team activities with our colleagues, and I'm very disappointed with how the front desk employee and the team booking representative handled our situation. I'd avoid this place if you want a hassle-free stay. I called during our allocated time to book under a block of rooms for a sports team. The representative didn't seem sure what was going on and gave me the name of the woman who handles team bookings, which made little sense since we already had a block reserved. She wasn't available over the weekend, so I called again during the week. I was put on hold while they tried to book it, then told only Saturday was available, not Friday, even though we had a block of rooms. They took my details and said they'd call if there was a cancellation, but I never heard from them. Three weeks later, a sports colleague who also didn't have a room had a change of plans and asked where we were staying. I said we were at a different location. She later called Four Points and got a booking. By then, my Expedia reservation couldn't be cancelled. I later learned two more people booked rooms in the same week as the trip.

I was a bit worried by some of the reviews after booking, but my stay went well. The staff were friendly, my room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept great before getting back on the road, and I'd definitely stay here again.

A perfect stop on the drive from Toronto to the Maritimes. I appreciated the dog-friendly rooms, and being able to take our beer back to the room after dinner. Brenda, who served us at the restaurant, was an absolute delight and a real highlight. We stayed in December, and the price felt just right for what we got. We'll definitely be back.

The steel steps up to the parking were slippery and felt really dangerous. The front desk woman was kind and switched our room when we asked. The sheets were a little rough, though the pillows were soft. The AC was loud, but the shower was great. Nothing to praise or complain about otherwise, pretty much what I'd expect in a smaller city. Nothing special, nothing awful.
