The price was good, and we had a pleasant stay. The exterior might give you the wrong impression, since our room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was the letdown: we expected more than eggs to warm up and cereal, not a full complimentary breakfast.

The family who owns and runs this place made our stay good. They worked hard for guests, accommodated our small dog, and found a place for our two mountain bikes. We slept well and felt comfortable, even though it’s an older hotel and the carpet and some other things look dated. The room air conditioner was loud enough that we turned it off at night. A few interesting characters were hanging around outside, but we still felt safe and fine. The highway is close, though we didn’t notice the noise. We saved money by showing up in person instead of booking by phone. The call center, which was somewhere else, quoted $179 and then $159. We passed on both and took our chances at the desk, where they offered a room with 2 queen beds for $130. Breakfast was pretty good, with oil field workers in mind and lots of protein choices, including bacon, sausage, 3 kinds of eggs, plus bagels, toast, fruit, cereal, and yogurt.

When I accidentally booked the wrong night, the staff were very accommodating. They cancelled without a penalty and rebooked me for the same price. The hotel is very clean and secure, with keycard access after 10 pm, and there’s a lovely guest lounge. Breakfast is simple but fresh. It’s right off the highway, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The room was clean, with a comfortable, spacious couch, and the staff were friendly. We liked the breakfast and the great pillows, though the bed was firmer than we prefer. Having a Keurig for coffee was a nice bonus.
