Getting a room required a phone call, and then I waited outside for about 15min before the host arrived. They were easy to talk to, but a few basic things made the stay inconvenient. There were just two outlets in the room, one on the wall and one on a lamp that looked like it had burned before. I had to unplug the heater whenever I wanted to charge anything or use the kettle. The fridge smelled bad enough that I couldn't use it, and there was only one bathroom hook, leaving nowhere to hang clothes or towels during a shower. Snow melted off my shoes at the entrance, but there was no mat, so water ran onto the wooden floor. The kettle also had visible white residue inside; I boiled water several times to get rid of it. Coffee powder left in an open paper cup didn't feel sanitary either. These are basic things I'd expect a motel to handle, and I hope they improve them for future guests.

We were left out in the cold with no way to get into our room, and couldn't find another hotel that late. The listing on Expedia said check-in was available at any time, but the property was completely closed when we got there. We called several times and got no answer, with no staff on-site to help. Since we couldn't check in or stay overnight, we're asking for a full refund. It was an extremely stressful and disappointing experience.

I slept well enough for the night, and the clean bed and hot shower were what I needed. The person who checked me in was really friendly, explained the security deposit clearly, and walked me to the room. Check-in happens through the restaurant. Just keep in mind the motel is right on the main road, so there's traffic noise. It works as a stopover, but I'd probably choose somewhere else next time.

There was dog or other animal hair all over the dirty room, and I’m allergic to it. I asked for a refund when I checked out, but they said no because I hadn’t told the front desk right away. It was closing soon, and they said they couldn’t know whether I’d left the hair there. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE IN TOWN.

We had a confirmed reservation but still couldn't get into our room. The front desk was shut when we arrived, and nobody answered despite our repeated calls. Expedia tried to reach them too, with no luck. If the desk closes at 9PM, guests need to be told clearly when booking, especially when the listing says 24/7 check-in. You'd also expect them to know a reserved guest was coming and arrange access. The communication and guest support were very poor. I wouldn't recommend staying unless you arrive well before 9PM, and even then, I'd call ahead to confirm, if anyone picks up.
