Sunchaser Vacation Villas

The place we stayed in was nice, but I’m unsure what the resort’s future looks like. We’ve visited three times, and it seems to be having a hard time keeping up with maintenance and building costs. One building has been condemned over structural issues, and the playground looks like it hasn’t been cared for in a long time. That’s especially disappointing when so many families come with little kids.

I won’t be back. The service seems to be getting worse. A front desk woman came over to the play area and gave us a rude warning about a billiard ball. There also aren’t consistent instructions for pool towels: sometimes you can return them at the desk for clean ones, other times you’re told to wash them yourself in the suite.

The mountain views were a highlight, and the kids had a great time in the pool. The kitchen and dining space felt homey, and the grocery store and gas station are only a few minutes away. Kristen and the staff made our arrival easy and were really helpful. We were impressed by the resort and its location near unique spots like the hot springs.

I own a unit and hadn’t been back in 24 years, so it was great to return and have both the A/B unit. The staff were very helpful, and there was plenty to enjoy, from the pool to the games room and movies for rent. The unit also had everything needed to cook meals. It was a very pleasant stay.
