Canadas Best Value Inn and Suites Fernie

We didn’t stay because the room was in such poor condition. There was hair on the pillow and several hairs on the bed, the room smelled odd, and it was extremely loud. A bandage over the door peephole also felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. After we left, I realized I’d forgotten my Stanley water bottle with my name on it. The front desk said nothing had been found, even though I’d clearly left it in the room. The whole experience felt careless and unprofessional, with poor cleanliness. I wouldn’t recommend this motel.

The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy, and the bathroom is nice. The employees are relaxed, and the pool is great and pretty clean. The hot tub was closed for maintenance, but that was okay since the pool was warm and it was hot outside. I’m pretty sure they’re trying to make the hot tub area feel tropical with the fake plants they’re putting around it. Breakfast was nice too, with yogurt, muffins, oranges, coffee, tea, cereal and some other things. The hotel is near a highway, but I didn’t mind at all. I’d definitely recommend it!

Breakfast was decent, and I got a good night's rest. The room was clean, the location was great, and the friendly staff made the stay easy. It was as advertised. I didn't use the pool or hot tub. Stayed Sept 14th, and I'd stay again.

For the price, it's a good place. We arrived late in the evening to find our room still hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. They offered a refund and to find us another hotel, which didn't seem very practical on a long weekend that late at night. The manager sorted it out within an hour, and the room was cleaned.
