Knights Inn Fort Erie

Maybe someone needs to inspect these rooms in person. They’re disgusting. Everything felt old, outdated, filthy, and smelled bad. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing ever, and every time you moved, you could hear the springs creak. Housekeeping can’t fix that, the rooms need a complete rehab and overhaul. My advice is to drive the extra 20 minutes to Niagara falls, CA. There’s much more to do and see, and much better hotels for the same price. Absolutely the pits here.

This is our second time staying here. It’s a basic motel, but we sleep comfortably every time. The staff are ultra friendly and accommodating. Thanks!

The room had a musty smell and dust, so we had to leave the door open to air it out. We paid 135$ for a room with a queen bed and got one cheap, uncomfortable pillow each and a really thin comforter. It hasn’t been renovated since the 80s. There was very little linen, and the missing floor trim between the bathroom and hallway left carpet tacks exposed. Every edge of the room seemed to have its own story. Maybe this is cultural, but cleaning didn’t seem like a top priority. What really bothered us was what seemed to be permanent residents setting up camp and partying every night. Calling the front desk didn’t seem to do anything. Pay the extra few bucks and stay somewhere else.

The room was very quiet, and we got the perfect first-floor room we’d requested. The location is great, the price is good, and the staff are awesome. It was clean, and the furniture was a bit dated, though nothing that would make me give it a bad review. Only thing missing was breakfast! 😀
