When work brings me to town, this is where I stay. The rooms are clean, and I like how well the hotel is kept up. The pool area is nice, and the fitness centre does the job. Front desk staff are welcoming and really helpful. Antonio is always pleasant and makes sure I’m comfortable. Breakfast could use a few gluten free choices, but I’ll be back. Highly recommend it.

This is the only place I stay when I’m in Fort McMurray. The service is top notch, especially from Antonio at the front desk, who’s always polite, friendly, and ready to help. Update: they came through for me again in a big way. I was stuck working over my birthday, and Nicole, Patricia and the staff surprised me with a nice room setup: balloons, treats, a couple of lovely cards, and a pint of ice cream in the freezer. Amazing!

Having a full kitchenette and a swimming pool was a plus. The hotel is close to the airport, which makes it a good fit for a quick fly in and out. The rooms are a bit smaller than those at other places I’ve stayed in Fort Mac, but they get the job done. Breakfast was pretty bare minimum and could be better. Overall, it was okay.

I had a nice dinner at the Lobby Bar + Lounge in the Microtel next door, across the parking lot. My stay at the TownePlace Suites in Fort McMurray was enjoyable too. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and nice. I’ll definitely come back on my next business trip. Thank you, Patricia!

I’ve tried several other hotels in Fort McMurray, and this was easily my best experience. It was extremely clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly every time I interacted with them. The location was just minutes from where I needed to be. Breakfast was good, and the amenities worked well for a longer stay. I’ll return for future business trips.
