The setting feels more urban than I expected, and there was shouting outside at night. The cabin is really tight for two, though the bed itself was comfortable and the outdoor area was lovely. Bring your bug tolerance for evenings out there. We found bugs tucked into our bedding, which was unpleasant. Inside, there were two metal coffee cups but no dish soap, plus two bottles of water. The person who cleaned between stays was very nice and brought us extra Nespresso pods and water. A small guide to the pod varieties would help, since after looking them up we suspected two might be decaf. The view is phenomenal.

The view made the price feel worthwhile, and parking was easy. Check-in was simple too. The room had everything we needed for its size, including a Keurig and bottled water. Heated floors were a welcome extra when it dropped to -6 overnight.

You really are staying in a cabin on the water, which makes for a pretty unusual visit. The space is snug, but the bed is very comfortable and it has what you need. We had great views, easy check-in, and free parking across the street.

The dock was a nice touch, and the views were pretty. The rooms are reasonably what you'd expect from converted shipping containers, though ours smelled odd and stayed humid. The blinds didn't do much to keep the streetlights out at night. I was there for five nights, which felt like a bit too long; this seems better suited to a weekend.

I came here to practice sustainable living and speak French, and it suited that well. Some reviews wish there were more things on the balconies, but I don't see the appeal of hauling home comforts along. A BBQ and drinks on the deck would mean extra upkeep and waste. I'd rather go to the restaurants and enjoy the local culture. Save the messy BBQ parties for home.
