Kim and Chuck made us feel included in their plans for the property, sharing renovation ideas and even introducing me to the carpenters and their lovely dog, who I got to play with. They were warm, attentive hosts, and gave us an extra bed at no charge. One room had an Egyptian theme and a jacuzzi, which we loved. We were fortunate to get rooms while the hotel was full, so booking ahead seems wise since it fills quickly. Set between green fields and the St. Lawrence River, the place has beautiful waterfront views. I especially enjoyed morning coffee in a gazebo facing the water. The natural setting, personal hospitality, and distinctive feel made this one of our most memorable getaways. Can't wait to return and see what Kim and Chuck have added.

The river view is amazing, and the gardens are well cared for with comfortable chairs outside. Inside, our room was clean and nicely decorated, with good quality linen and towels. The owners are friendly, caring, hardworking people who keep renovating and improving the property. We'd happily stay here again.

Watching the sunset from the lovely deck felt romantic and peaceful. We also got a tour of the renovated property, including the gardens, landscaping, and themed rooms. Each one felt cozy and distinctive. The renewal zen garden at Hôtel Oasis, Lac Saint-Louis Valleyfield was a lovely place to lie down and enjoy the moment, just like “Un Vrai Refuge Urbain” on the hotel logo. Since summer 2024, the new owners, Mrs Kim and Mr Truc, have worked incredibly hard and with real passion to make these changes happen. Hats off to them. There's more to come, and we'll be back to see the new projects. We had a great time. Thank you both for having us, your kindness meant a lot.

The fresh-smelling, very soft linens and towels were lovely, and the owner kindly upgraded our room for free. She told us about her plans for a zen garden and spa as she works to revamp the hotel, and we wish the new owners the best with the renovations. Unfortunately, our upgraded room was beside what I think was a room occupied by hired staff. My husband and I both have asthma, and each time we went in or out, we encountered smoke. That made the stay unpleasant. Perhaps the staff could be asked to smoke in an unused part of the parking lot. Just a suggestion.

The water views outside are amazing, and our room had a huge jet Jacuzzi. It was spotless, the bed was really comfy, and the whole place felt welcoming. There was a coffee machine, grounds, and milk too. My boyfriend and I loved staying here and would recommend it for a couples' overnight getaway. We'll come back. I've seen comments about smoke smells, but I didn't notice any at all. I was so happy with the room, honestly can't stop thinking about how much I loved it 😂
