Jay even let us leave our car and traveling fridge behind while we spent the night in St Pierre, which made that part of the trip easier. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Jay arranged a free ride to and from the terminal for the ferry. Rooms are luxurious, with very comfortable beds and clean, spacious bathrooms. If you need somewhere in the Fortune area, this is the place.
We stayed overnight before catching the ferry to Saint-Pierre. The place was clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and they also offer parking at a very reasonable price if you’re leaving your car behind. Super staff and great value. Highly recommend.
We found this a very comfortable, worry-free place, and our rental car from St John's was secure in the hotel parking. Mr Rose Sr got us to the ferry and picked us up on schedule. The host was easy to reach by text or phone. The room was well appointed, with a wonderful bed and bedding as good as, or better than, a 5 star. It’s an ideal area stay and a great choice before the St. Pierre ferry. There’s no restaurant, though one is a couple of minutes away in Grand Bank. Highly recommended.
A clean, motel-style place that’s handy for the St Pierre Ferry. The rooms are all on the ground floor, and the beds are very comfortable, though a bit high. The host provides a stool. There’s no restaurant or bar, so make sure you eat in a neighboring town before arriving.
The parking and shuttle were easy to use both going out and coming back. We stayed one night at Hotel Fortune before heading to Saint Pierre, and the room was clean and comfortable with a comfy bed. Sound carries between rooms, though, so I’d bring earplugs.
