Fredericton Inn

There was no hot water for all seven days of my stay in February, so I couldn’t take a proper shower. I also got electrical shocks twice, first while switching the unit from heat to AC, then when I tried to turn on the light. That’s a serious safety concern. The food was pricey for the very small portions, and children ran through the halls day and night, leaving me unable to sleep. These are basic things a paying guest should be able to count on. I can’t recommend Fredericton Inn after this experience.

We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, but the food was mediocre and overpriced. Paying $4 for a teabag and hot water also felt like a lot. Service was okay, though it depended on who we spoke with. The room looked nice at first, and the beds were comfortable, but the pillows weren’t. We also found a peanut and other things on the floor. My mom is allergic, so that could have gone badly. I liked having a table in the room. We won’t stay again.

There’s a lot close by, including Tim Hortons, Subway, McDonald's, a shopping mall, and Walmart, which made it easy to get food or shop. The hotel was quiet and comfortable, just right for a good night’s rest. Staff were pleasant and helpful, and the free gym and swimming pool were nice extras that were well maintained.

The hot tub was closed, and we couldn’t use the TV because a cable was missing. Still, we had a pleasant, relaxing night. Our updated room was clean and comfortable, with inviting beds and blue, gray, and beige colors. The bathroom floor looked a bit old-fashioned but was spotless. The hotel is large, clean, and well equipped, with a pool, spa, gym, and restaurant. It’s easy to reach from the highway and close to restaurants and a shopping center.
