Hilton Garden Inn Fredericton

The rooms were decent, with a firm mattress, coffee machine, safety box, and basic toiletries in the bathroom. The Front desk and cleaning staff were cheerful and always ready to help. The hotel is right in the middle of downtown, within walking distance of galleries, museums, the river walk, expo centres, and nice restaurants. There’s also a gym, bar, restaurant, a bridge to the convention centre, and a separate building for paid parking.

We had a clean, modern, comfortable conference room for our group of about twelve, and getting connected to the multimedia and Wi-Fi was quick and easy. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the hotel is near downtown and the river. Breakfast and parking cost extra, but the menu is good. A very nice place for a business stay in Fredericton.

The front desk was super helpful and accommodating, and the one-night stay was great overall. The room did smell like takeout, probably from a former guest. I was too tired to bring it up and didn’t feel it was urgent since I was only there one night. I’m more than certain they would have fixed it. It’s pet friendly.

The lack of daily housekeeping surprised me. They clean every other day, and while I understand not changing sheets or towels daily for environmental reasons, I expected the bed to be made and the room tidied each day without needing to ask. I’ve stayed at hotels across the range, from Hilton properties to small bed and breakfasts, 3-star to 5-star, and haven’t come across this before. The staff were friendly, the room clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. I’d recommend it for the location and service, but if daily room cleaning matters to you, nearby hotels in a similar price range do offer it.
