Estello Suites et Spa

We left disappointed. Communication was poor: our messages were ignored or answered very late, and we didn't get the check-in instructions or details about extra spa charges until the day we were leaving. The regular rooms are tiny, with hardly any room for luggage. There's a chair and table, but using them means putting the Murphy bed away each time, so this seems suited to one night at most. One of us was injured while using the facilities, and the staff didn't really acknowledge what happened or show much concern. That was upsetting.

The lake view from the beautiful building and room was perfect, and we loved our stay every minute. The spa was lovely and not too busy, so we could enjoy the hot tubs before bed. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, and arrived at the time we requested. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It's a perfect spot for couples. Thank you Estello!

The room was lovely, with a view of the lake, and breakfast was brought right to us. The staff were friendly and smiley, and there were so many places to relax, along with outdoor jacuzzis, saunas, and a pool. Madame Gina, the masseuse, is a local magician. I'd recommend visiting her office; she's fantastic and made my body feel whole again. One word for the stay: fabulous. You don't realize you need a place like this until you're here. Definitely recommend making it a weekend getaway to relax and recharge.

The Nordic thermal spa was a highlight, with eucalyptus steam rooms, jacuzzis, cold plunge pools, and a heated pool. I especially liked the dry sauna overlooking the lake, and the red light therapy and massage chairs added another indulgent touch. Breakfast came to our room each morning: fresh croissants, fruit, coffee, and smoothies. There was also a nice selection of wines at the hotel. We found the service friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The rooms and suites have cozy, elegant decor that made us feel at home, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Having a well-equipped kitchenette made things more convenient, and some suites have balconies with breathtaking views of Lac Mégantic. With lake access, outdoor activities, and such a peaceful atmosphere, Estello Suites & Spa makes a lovely escape from everyday life. It has a great mix of comfort, luxury, and tranquility, whether you're after a romantic getaway, a wellness retreat, or simply a chance to recharge. From the moment we arrived, it felt like something special. We'll definitely be back, and highly recommend it.
