Furry Creek Bed & Breakfast

If you want to be close to Squamish without staying in the city, this spot is about a 10-minute drive away. The grounds are extensive, and the rooms are really spacious. Margaret was especially sweet and fed us like royalty. The house is stunning, from the floor-to-ceiling windows and detailed art sculptures to the folding piano from the Mozart era, which is there for display only. Allergy sufferers should know there's a cat on the premises, though it's very cute.

This isn't set up like a traditional hotel or motel, but our host was professional and gave us plenty of space. We stayed three nights over Christmas, and she even left us Christmas gifts. The bathroom is shared with the other guests, though it was very clean and well looked after.

Our wedding guests all raved about their stay and about Margareth. She even helped with various details so the event would run more smoothly, and she really is a remarkable host and person. The home is lovely, clean, and in a great location. Thanks again!

We only booked one night and wished we'd stayed longer. Margareth was flexible about check-in, check-out, and breakfast times, and made an amazing breakfast. The personal decorations and photos around the house made it feel welcoming and homey. We stayed in the Romantic Place, so I can only speak for that room: the bed was very comfortable, the windows let in plenty of light, and having tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch. The whole house has lots of large windows. The bathroom is shared with other rooms, but even with two other groups staying there, we were spread out enough that we never had to share it with anyone. At a busier time, that could be different, as with any B&B. One small thing: the sign is hard to see when you approach from the highway, so check a map, note the address, or use GPS.
