Imperial Inn Thousand Islands

I rented the queen cottage and have no complaints. It was quiet and peaceful, my room was clean, and housekeeping did a very good job. The staff were kind and friendly too. I stayed here while vacationing in Gananoque and will come back whenever I’m in the area.

They were so welcoming when we arrived late. We expected some frustration, but the staff or owners treated us like friends and welcomed us with open arms. That kind of attitude makes a big difference to a trip. It’s a quiet, clean, family-run sort of motel, with a great price for a little exploration trip. We loved it and would definitely recommend it.

Jenny helped me out when my second charger broke. I asked if there was an old, unclaimed one in lost and found, and she gave me one without a fuss. Really good service, thanks. Bryan was very friendly too, and I got a laugh out of the little note from housekeeping. The room was small but had enough space for one person just looking for a place to sleep. There was no AC, and it was hot, with winter sheets on the bed in room 115. I couldn’t get my cargo bike in because there are two steps up to the room. The bathroom water flow was poor, and getting either cold or hot water took strangely long. Pet friendly and parrot friendly. The cheap breakfast had croissants, toast, banana, muffin, yogurt, coffee, and orange juice.

For the price, the room was quiet, clean, and tidy, with plenty of space and an okay bed. We were offered two rooms at reception and chose one toward the back of the property. The bathroom needed some repairs. The complimentary breakfast was quite satisfactory once we asked about it, though it would have helped if someone had mentioned the details when we arrived. The drives and parking areas were spacious but very uneven.
