May’s breakfast was a highlight, and she’s such a lovely hostess. Her childhood home makes a charming guest house, with a fantastic view over the Bay of Fundy right off the Fundy Costal Drive. We stopped four times in the ten minutes before arriving to take photos of the stunning views. It was a lovely stop on the way to PEI, and it even made us rethink our final destination. We hope to come back. Keep up the good work, May! Best Air B&B ever.

The owners were so warm and welcoming, and we had a lovely chat. They gave us useful tips for places to check out between Black River, NB and St. Martins, NB. We first dropped in because we wanted to support a small local business, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The place feels like a little time capsule, with ice cream, nostalgic candies, and lovely local art. I fell for a painting of the Wharf Inlet and can’t wait to put it in my reading nook. It’s a gem, worth visiting if you’re nearby and even worth a detour.

The views are gorgeous, and the staff are super friendly. We stopped into Moore's on the way back from St. Martin's, and the ice cream was delicious 😋. Definitely make a stop if you're in the area!

There’s an ice cream bar inside, which is nice after spending time on the nearby beaches. Out back, the antique shop is full of hidden treasures and thrifty finds. On a nice day, go for the view of the water below. The very nice lady who runs the place paints the artwork in her store and makes homemade sweets and jams. I had the pleasure of meeting her myself.
