June and Paul thought through every room and space, clearly anticipating the things guests might appreciate and making sure they were there. Even the smaller touches felt considered: fresh tulips around the house, flip flops in different sizes for the short walk to the magical hot tub in the trees, and towel and robe hooks on the tree by its stairs. June met us in person and gave us a full tour, rather than leaving us to typical self check-in. She showed us the appliances, fireplace, whole-home stereo, and everything else so we'd feel settled and relaxed. Having stayed in lots of high-end rentals, I've seen hosts cut corners to save money. Here, June and Paul seemed to go all out with their choices. The built-in, fully automated Thermador espresso machine must have cost about $8,000!! It makes coffee feel special, and they even stocked good beans. They also provided a Le Creuset kettle and French press for people who prefer that. The stereo system, appliances, pool table, sauna, and three different grills were all fantastic. Goose Cove Retreat exceeded my already very high expectations in every way. I can't imagine a more perfect rental for a family or group.

November 30- December 3, 2023 Magical is the word for this sanctuary. My family and friends have booked the resort several times, and it's given us some of our most precious memories. The peace, beauty, and luxury are hard to put into words. We love how comfortable the bedrooms and living areas are, especially the wonderful indoor fireplace, and the kitchen is a chef's dream for cooking and spending time together. The owners make sure you're welcome and comfortable, and are there whenever you need them. This trip, we were delighted to find the home decorated for Christmas. Such a special touch. My husband and I could work easily from the beautiful office overlooking the ocean. This is one of our favorite places on earth, and we'll be back for more magic! The house is stunning and spacious, with views that took our breath away and a kitchen I'll dream about forever. We loved all the board games, too. You can tell they thought about every corner of the place, and we appreciated all of it. The sound system is marvellous!

We stayed with two other couples, and each of us had a very private sleeping wing. The beds were among the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the place is equipped for every need and then some. For what you get, the price was very reasonable. Wow, one of the best accommodation experiences I've had. Don't hesitate to stay here!
