A peaceful spot for a restorative stay, with quiet blues music and lovely grounds and atmosphere. Breakfast and service were both wonderful, and the hosts were fantastic. If you have trouble using stairs, ask for a ground-floor room.

What a gem. Free wifi, a BBQ, and an outdoor fireplace, plus an enclosed patio where you can sit and enjoy breakfast. It's in a peaceful spot overlooking the river.

The host was fantastic and took time to tell us about nearby things to do and Ottawa's history. Breakfast was just right. We had a wonderful time, with restaurants within walking distance and the river right there for a stroll.

It's a quiet place to unwind, and the nearby bike path can take you around Gatineau or Ottawa. The host served a very good breakfast at the table. We had a great time and would happily come back.

The whole place has a relaxed, slightly bohemian feel, but it doesn't go over the top. The hosts are lovely, even though you mostly see them at breakfast, which is great. There are relaxing spots inside and in the gardens, and the host plays cool, soothing music if you want it. WiFi is excellent. It's a great place on Ottawa's outskirts. You can walk into the city in about 1.25 hours along pleasant routes, though driving is easy too.
