Shenstone Motor Inn

We woke up to wild turkeys in the backyard, lol. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy, and the atmosphere was great. It’s right on the highway, but still quiet. Staff were friendly, and the attached restaurant gets great reviews. I’d recommend it.

The restaurant was good too. I tried several things from the menu and enjoyed them all. At the motel, the staff were super friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make the stay comfortable. My room was very clean, with fun, bright decor. It’s in a great spot, only ten minutes out of town. I’d definitely come back.

The open land for bonfires made the evenings feel cozy and memorable, and the place had a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly, too. I stayed for two days and had a great time, with loads of tasty options on the food menu. I’d happily return.

We didn’t stay and left. The sheets on both beds were stained and covered in hair, and the room had dust over an inch thick. The TV was dusty and sticky, like it had never been cleaned. They’d tried to update the rooms, but the cleanliness was still disgusting. Staff offered another room, but I couldn’t stomach it and said no. I was told we should have booked a hotel if we wanted somewhere nicer and cleaner. Lesson learned.
